Defence IQ’s Joint Simulation and Training conference offers an arena filled with a wealth of experience. Major defence, military and high-tech industry stakeholders from the simulation and training community are brought together through focused sessions and workshops and numerous networking opportunities.
Armed forces are deployed in more varied and challenging environments than ever before and asked to perform an increasingly wide range of joint force tasks. It is essential that armed forces and military end-users have access to the best possible mission preparation for their deployed operations.
At Defence IQ’s Joint Simulation and Training conference you will be exposed to the right people and the right information to make this a reality.
Themes for 2010 reflect requirements for a broader range of mission preparation, such as:
- irregular warfare
- joint operations
- Countering IEDs
- increased realism in training
The conference tackles the key issues that affect the military’s ability to conduct broad ranging, flexible and cost effective joint simulation and training with tailored briefings on:
- US Joint Force Command’s Joint Training In Live, Virtual and Constructive (L-V-C) Training Environments
- An Increasing Need To Secure Networks To Ensure Increased Distributed Training
- Advances In Serious Game Technology To Meet Military Requirements
- Rapid Acquisition in Long Term Strategy: The Need To Quickly Exploit Technology
- Training For Irregular Warfare: Counter - Improvised Explosive Devices
- Counter Insurgency Simulation And Training: Cultural And Soft Factors
