A roadmap to the implementation of the national public safety network

Effective communication among first responders at a time of crisis substantially improves the likelihood of mission success. Enhancing interoperability and providing high volume data exchange between agencies affords a critical advantage in an emergency situation. The FCC’s release of the 700 Mhz band and dedicated public safety network allows for a level of information exchange and interoperable communication that will revolutionize the response capability of our Nation’s public safety systems.
