Underwater Communication Systems, Innovative Sonar Solutions, Ship Propulsion, Autonomous Underwater Vehicles
EvoLogics GmbH
EvoLogics was founded as a technology company (spin-off of the Technische Universität Berlin) to realize innovative, biologically inspired concepts in commercially appliable products.
By order of the Bundesministerium für Bildung und Forschung (BMBF, German ministry for education and research).
EvoLogics acts as the coordinator of the German bionic competence network and is also involved in building up the KMU - network Terra Bionica (a project of the German BMWi).
Applying the know-how of scientists and engineers which are internationally leading in their fields and with a large share of own research and development we are able to set new technical frontiers in our competence cores.
New, patented procedures for the reliable telemetry of digital data, images and control signals under water using acoustic broad-band-signals (following the model of dolphin biosonar) for multiple applications in the marine research, environment monitoring and maritime industry: underwater data networks, control systems for mobile underwater equipment and more, especially in very noisy conditions (suitable for both deep and shallow water channels).
Bionic sensors: high-resolution ultrasonic systems for oceanography (ocean ground mapping), orientation, positioning and other hydrographical tasks (applications for nondestructive material diagnostics, biomedical systems etc in preparation) underwater engineering and biomimetical robotics biologically inspired propulsion technology (advanced propeller shapes) and drag reduction mechanisms, optimization of flow bodies, silencing, adaptive empennages (fin ray effect) and more.
